Showcase has a new addition to their fire apparatus line. This Pierce pumper is something that would fit well in many model railroads. While this model is based on a very new prototype (2015+) trucks of thus type have been in production for the last 25 years.

Th model is based on an extended custom chassis. The cab has a low roof and is fully enclosed. Cut outs for cab steps make this a fairly recent truck Prior to 2015, most Pierce trucks had a cab step that is enclosed by the doors.

If you are interested in back-dating the truck, I would suggest filling in the cab steps. You can also flip the etched roll-up door over, if the prototype in your area has swing-out doors.

Like their ladder truck, this model is well detailed and the parts fit well. This is a must-have for anyone modeling a modern model scene.

This engine falls right in line with the ladder truck you produce. High detail and quality. If you have a fire house in your layout you need this engine.
