These finely etched 'T' hinges are welcome details that can be added to door, window and shutter components on a variety of models including structures, rolling stock and brass locomotives. Since they are made of very thin brass, as compared to thicker styrene castings, these hinges can be easily bent to conform to a variety open door positions without breaking. In addition, they can be installed in their brass colour and allowed to oxidize naturally (as per the prototypes) or simply dipped into an aging solution to create a variety of colour tones including rust.
